The School of Health (ESS) is a part of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, the biggest Polytechnic Institute of Portugal. Aiming towards excellence and innovation in education and in R&D in the areas of Health Technologies and Sciences, the P.PORTO School of Heath provides our students with the tools to better and improve human healthcare and the quality of life worldwide.
Through innovative investigation and a constant need to evolve, our mission is to provide the tools to build a better work environment for better health professionals, contributing to healthier lives. We currently offer 12 Degrees and 10 Master’s degree, with a curriculum widely spread through several fields of Health Sciences. The curricula of our courses are designed by active experts from the various fields of Health Sciences to train outstanding health professionals and researchers.
We are the biggest institution of polytechnic education in the field of Health in Portugal, and the third biggest school of P.PORTO, with around 2.500 students.
With over 30 years of existence, we proud ourselves of our history and the high standards set by mission, endeavouring to build an even more promising future.
