In a clinical environment, Computed Tomography is widely used in the diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of different pathologies. This imaging modality is constantly evolving, in terms of hardware and software, which requires regular updating of acquisition protocols, planning and use of advanced imaging techniques. Acquisition protocols must be optimized to ensure minimal exposure to ionizing radiation, ensuring patient safety and maintaining the commitment to image quality for diagnosis/therapeutics. Investment in post-graduate training will allow to deepen and complement theoretical and practical knowledge in the acquisition, analysis and visualization of medical images in Computed Tomography. This training guarantees an autonomous and competent professional performance in the diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of patients, ensuring differentiating scientific skills and knowledge for professionals who are dedicated to this imaging modality.
