The PG in Biotechnology aims to provide skills in the areas of Biotechnology applied to Life and Health Sciences.
The course aims to enable graduates to:
- recognize the importance and apply new biotechnological tools in the field of cellular and animal manipulation;
- intervene in the production and transformation of products in various health sectors in the area of human and veterinary diagnosis and therapeutics;
- intervene in the development of new therapies, biopharmaceuticals and biomedical devices;
- intervene in various health sectors in the area of diagnosis and therapy;
- recognize the importance and apply new tools in the field of manipulating molecules and omics, in particular pharmacogenomics;
- know and know how to use experimental models (in vitro, cellular and animal) to develop therapeutic strategies applied to Life and Health Sciences.

a) Holders of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in courses in the area of Health Technologies, in the area of Chemical, Life and Health Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Nutrition Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Genetics, Microbiology, Biology and similar ) and in the area of Engineering Sciences (Environmental, Biological, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering and similar); b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, in the area of health or a related area, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the Bologna principles by a State adhering to this Process; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree in the areas mentioned in paragraph a) by the ESS Technical-Scientific Council; d) Holders of an academic, scientific and professional curriculum that is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this cycle of studies by the ESS Technical-Scientific Council; e) Be over 23 years old.
