The Master's Course in Occupational Therapy aims to train professionals in areas of specialization of a professional nature, in the area of Occupational Therapy applied to the various fields of activity provided for in the legislation that regulates the profession's career. This Course was developed to respond to the needs of occupational therapists who wish to develop specific skills suited to the functions that their area of specialization requires. Health care institutions, public and private: - Hospitals - Private clinics - Health centers - Rehabilitation centers - Support associations for people with different needs - Support associations for people at risk of social exclusion - Schools - Health care units Continuing Care - Homes for the elderly - Intervention in the community.

Under the terms of DL nº 74/2006, of March 24, as amended by DL nº 65/2018, of August 16, the following are admitted to the study cycle leading to the degree of Master in Occupational Therapy: Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or another course in the area of life sciences or health, or legal equivalent; Holders of a foreign higher academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to it; Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the Bachelor's degree by the Technical-Scientific Council; Holders of a school, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the Technical-Scientific Council.
